Fifth Visit
Ohio Vineyard team during their fifth visit to El Salvador went beyond material support to Zurisadai Church and the community in San Jacinto becoming a positive impact to the lives of children and adults and cultivating strong relationships with them.

New Home, New Life
Rosa Estrada, holding in her arms her youngest grandson Jose Angel who was born just before Rosa received the team visit and her new home. Her excitement and gratitude allows us to enjoy her smile which she hasn’t shown for a long time because of the sad condition in which she, her daughter Ingrid and her 6 grandchildren lived.

Inspiring and Invaluable Work
Keshi and Amy, take water to the barrels to later use it in the preparation of the cement mixture. Their tireless work was invaluable and inspiring. Despite the heavy rain they spared no effort to bless Rosa Estrada and her family showing hope to an entire community.

Service in Action
Yarnall Christina enjoys her time of service. For four days of arduous work there were few moments of rest but the church and community enjoyed the smiles and friendship from every member of Vineyard Church.

Love With Bubbles
Amy Cahall shows Jessica Linares how to make bubbles during the home visit. This time is very significant for both the beneficiary and for each team member who is encouraged to give love and compassion.

Prayer and Love
The team prays with Nuria Linares and her six children during a home visit. Nuria was among the first beneficiaries of the housing project in San Jacinto. Each visit is an opportune time to bring hope, companionship and friendship to each of these families.

Working Together
Andrew Lange with Ernesto, Rosa’s grandson, carrying sand for the construction of the new house that Rosa received as a beneficiary of Zurishaddai church work with the community.

Casting Sand
Kevin Thress works alongside a member of the community for casting sand and thus facilitate the work of the mixture to make cement.

Joy and Celebration
Games, songs, laughter and joy were part of what the Vineyard team prepared for 120 children of the community in San Jacinto. The team’s dedication to these children and their parents brought much joy and impact to the future leaders of the locality.

Passion and Work
On her third year working for the community in San Jacinto, Amy Cahall has also shown her love and passion for Salvadoran people and her arduous work and involvement shows how passionate she is in everything she does.

Some group members (Jeff, Andrew, Kevin) with Rosa, some of his grandchildren and neighbors who happily joined the team during the construction of Rosa’s new home.

Hope for the Future!
Ernesto, Rosa’s grandson helps bring sand to the mix. Without his mother Miriam, Ernesto’s life would be unsafe and empty, but the monitoring work that the church has had with this family has allowed his innocent smile to remain despite adversity. Now he can enjoy a safe house, have shelter during the rain and hope for the future.
