As an uneducated, 16 year old orphan, Pastor Rafael Gonzalez started his first church on the beaches of El Salvador. A widower at the age of 23, he overcame countless adversities that have brought him to where he is today; He pastors the New Jerusalem Church in Comecayo, a rural church of more than 1,000 members which now partners with ENLACE to impact an entire region of the country.
