What makes ENLACE stand out among other development ministries?

ENLACE’s approach is distinct because it is 100% focused on supporting and empowering the local church to be the long-term agent of change within its community. To us, churches are not just a part of the process of development, they are our core client. We exist to serve the local church in the context of the challenges associated with poverty and injustice in El Salvador. All of our programs and projects are managed with the vision of equipping churches to become servant leaders who transform their communities and equip others to do the same. Insodoing God's message of redemption and wholeness comes through in word and deed. 

Does ENLACE operate in any other countries?

While we lead and participate in a variety of networks throughout the United States and Latin America, we work primarily in El Salvador. We desire to build long-term relationships with local churches, encouraging and supporting their work over a sustained period of time. This desire has led us to remain focused on one country. 

Is ENLACE affiliated with any specific church or denomination?

ENLACE is not officially affiliated with any one denomination. We work with any church that loves Jesus and has a heart for serving its community.

How does ENLACE select the churches to support in El Salvador?

The churches we work with have specifically asked for ENLACE to help them better serve their communities and have demonstrated a strong desire to create and sustain their initiatives. On a national level, we work in four strategic regions of the country with a plan to expand as churches help to lead others in their surrounding areas. In this way, we hope to reach all the major regions of El Salvador.
